A few weeks ago ARTHUR HAGUES final year Press and Editorial Photography student from Falmouth University contacted One and All Radio. Here is what he said:
" I'm currently doing a project on community radio, in particular stations that appeal to specific communities whilst simultaneously educating those outside of the community. Been listening to the Source FM and came across your show, the discussion of Cornish identity issues is fascinating. Being someone from outside of Cornwall I'm not usually exposed to these issues, so hearing yourself talk so strongly about them is really enlightening - its sad that the Cornish identity isn't paid as much attention as Wales/Scotland etc. If you have time I'd really like to come and take some photographs of yourself for this project - its important to consider the local area when considering photographing community issues."
We were more than willing to oblige the gifted young man. He showed up on a Monday and took a series of pictures , one of which you can see above. This image is of Tony carrying the Celtic League Flag while standing on the Beacon in Falmouth, his home town. The Beacon overlooks the stunning Falmouth Bay with the Docks visible to the left.
Arthur has a bright future in his chosen career. See more of his talents here:
